What Color Comes to Mind?
An interactive STEAM exhibit for indoor & outdoor spaces
What color comes to mind?
Take a card. Think about your response.
When you've got something, it's time to play.
Tap anywhere inside the grid
Your body is a paintbrush
As you reflect on your answer, go play inside the dome.
What colors can you make?
Reach up, the colors get brighter. Crouch down, they get darker.
One Person
The dome responds as if you're playing a giant color wheel.
Two People
As others enter, their colors join yours.
Many People
Many people, your colors form a Voronoi pattern, which appears throughout nature.
Time to share
On a timed interval, the colors freeze. If you want,
share your card with family, friends or a neighbor.
What color did you make, and where? In the dome, in your movements, in your memories?
Take home
As you leave the dome, scan a QR code to keep a digital version of the pattern you made, or head to the gift shop to take home a physical representation.
